Accessibility Statement
Accessibility at nicheace.eu
Moelsen Operations Ltd wants everyone to be able to use nicheace.eu, including people who rely on a screen reader, keyboard navigation, magnification or reduced motion. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.
Where We Stand
As of October 20, 2026, the website conforms to WCAG 2.1 AA as far as we have been able to verify:
- Every page has a single top-level heading, headings in order, and landmarks for the main content, navigation and footer. A “Skip to content” link appears on the first Tab press.
- All interactive elements can be reached and operated with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator. Moving content (the niche strip, the exercise carousel) pauses on hover and focus and is reduced or stopped when your system asks for reduced motion.
- Text and controls meet the 4.5:1 and 3:1 contrast ratios.
- Images that carry meaning have text alternatives; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology. The shareable score cards of the free test carry the score as text in the page as well as in the image.
- Form fields in the newsletter sign-up and the free test have labels and announced error messages.
- The page language is declared for English and German pages.
Automated checks (Lighthouse, based on axe-core) on 12 representative pages, English and German, report no violations. A manual keyboard-only pass was completed on October 20, 2026.
Known Limitations
- Third-party content embedded on the site (the Cloudflare Turnstile check on the free test, the Google Play badge) is governed by its provider’s accessibility.
- The free test speaks a sample sentence through your browser’s speech synthesis; the voice and its quality depend on your device.
- The PDF worksheets generated by the app are not covered by this statement.
