The language course written for your exact needs.
From“Wow, your English* is so good!”to just getting an answer.
Describe your niche — the quarterly review, the grant proposal, the thesis defence — and the app writes a journey around it: one to fifteen weeks, five exercises a day, a role play that pushes back. English first, seven more languages.
Any niche. One to fifteen weeks. Five exercises a day, five days a week.
You don’t pick from a list; you describe the world and the journey is written for it. Fifteen weeks is the default; one week is possible. Every day has the same five exercises, and five finished days make a node on your bamboo.
Describe it. Any niche.
A sentence or two about the work you do. Or paste your own text, or upload a document or a photo of one: the journey is built from it.
One to fifteen weeks. Fifteen by default.
Each week has a theme from your niche and a vocabulary that belongs to it. Your level: Essentials, Pre-Advanced, Advanced or Expert; after each day the difficulty moves one careful step or stays if it fits you.
Five exercises a day. Five days a week. One node.
About fifteen minutes each. Finish one and the bamboo drinks; finish Friday and it grows a node. Out loud in audio mode, or on paper as a printed worksheet.
Five exercises. About fifteen minutes each. Then the bamboo drinks.
Scroll through a day. The phone on the left is the real home screen, drawn live.
The sky is yellow until you have done something.
Every day starts at midnight with a bright yellow ground and a plant that leans a little. Your plan has refilled your credits for the day; what you did not use yesterday is gone.
Rain. Nine days in a row.
The first finished exercise waters the plant and the weather turns. Nine days in a row bring the rain (the streak can also start from day 1, but once broken you will need 9 days to get it back), and with it 10 % more credits every morning.
The day is done. Tomorrow costs a thousand.
Vocabulary, fill the gap, a content lesson in two rounds, a scenario, a role play that answers back, and its result. Opening the next day costs 1,000 credits from today's refill.
A node for the week. The plant never loses one.
Five days of real work. Worth showing: the week card can be shared. The weather can get worse; the plant only grows.
Cloudy. The streak starts again.
A missed day resets the streak to one. The finished days after it are cloudy until it reaches nine; then rain, with 10 % more credits every morning, and from thirty days the sun, with 20 % more.
Pressed into the herbarium. The next one grows beside it.
Fifteen weeks, finished. That is the rare part. The culm stays in the scene behind the next one, and you can hold up to ten journeys in any mix of languages.
One bamboo. Fifteen weeks. The weather is today.
Every completed week adds a node. The plant never shrinks. The sky behind it is today: yellow until you have done something, cloudy while a streak builds, rain from nine days in a row, sun from thirty. It stands on your home screen, in the widget and in the app. After week fifteen it is pressed into your herbarium and the next one grows beside it.
Yellow from midnight until the first exercise is done. The plant leans a little.
Done today, a streak under nine days. The app counts down to the rain.
Nine days in a row and more. A tenth more credits every morning.
Thirty days in a row and more. A fifth more credits every morning.
Built to make you proficient — not busy.
Every part of nicheAce rewards real skill: conversations you rehearse, a path that retunes to you. No participation trophies, no green checks for showing up.
A full journey with the screen off.
Not one exercise — a whole day of them, out loud. Audio mode reads each exercise aloud and you answer by speaking. Leave the screen on and you can read along as it goes; lock it, drop the phone in your pocket, and the same day keeps running while you walk, commute, or go anywhere at all.
- A whole day's exercises, not just one
- The mic only opens for a short answer window after each question
- Native voices in English, French, German, Spanish and Italian today
- About 101 credits a minute, from the same daily refill

Print, write, scan. It counts.
Every exercise of a day on one sheet. A worksheet PDF for the train, the desk or a class: vocabulary, gap fill, the lesson rounds and the scenario, A4 or Letter, with the answer key behind a fold line. Write your answers by hand, scan the sheet with the app, and the day counts like any other.
- Every exercise of a day on one sheet
- A4 or Letter, the answer key behind a fold line
- Write by hand, then scan the sheet in the app
- A scanned day counts like one done on screen

Real conversations, realistic scenarios.
Multi-turn scenarios with AI characters who have a personality and a goal — a clerk, a client, a stranger at a conference. They push back, stay in character, and hand back a human-style critique instead of a pass/fail stamp.
32 characters. None of them are on your side.
Each with their own warmth, directness and appetite for conflict — arriving in one of eight moods. The Director wants a decision before you hang up. The Steward wants the rule followed.
Flashcards that reward retrieval.
The definition shows first; phonetics, the word and the example stay locked until you commit to a guess. Say the word out loud, or type it.
Gap fill: use every word in a sentence.
Words you just studied drop into real sentences with the key blanked out and two plausible distractors.
Reading written for you, graded like an essay.
Passages tied to your week’s theme, with comprehension that reasons about meaning instead of hunting for one exact keyword.
Saved cards, due when they are due.
Save any word to your deck and review it when it comes up again. Your best scenario replies are kept as perfect replies: listen, repeat, compare with what you wrote.
Credits that refill every morning.
A fresh allowance every day, spent on lesson days, new journeys, redos and audio mode. Whatever you don’t use is gone tomorrow, so there is nothing to hoard — and anything you buy or are given sits in a separate balance that never expires.
2,000 credits for both of you.
Send your code. They get 2,000 credits when they confirm their email, and you get 2,000 once they finish their first learning day.
Any mix of languages, one bamboo.
Horizon Europe in English and Behördenkorrespondenz in German, side by side. Weeks count wherever you do them; the plant is yours, not the journey’s.
Week done. Worth showing.
Every finished week makes a share card with your bamboo; week fifteen makes the one that says “Fifteen weeks, finished. That is the rare part.”
Describe the world you want to enter.
A starting set of niches, each with a sample week to read. Most people come for the English their work already runs on — the deal, the paper, the degree; some come for K-pop. Both work. You create the next niche yourself: if you can describe it, you can learn it.
Example: Clinical & lab research, in English.
Every journey is personalized, but here’s what the shape of fifteen weeks looks like.
Foundations
Clinical trial protocols, informed consent forms and adverse event reporting: the documents every study runs on, until a protocol reads without translating it.
Deepening
Ethics in human studies, data integrity in the lab, ethics committees and confidentiality: the careful language of what a study may and may not do.
Application
Protocol violations, post-market surveillance, misconduct cases and cross-cultural ethics: handle a deviation, write up a safety signal, argue a case before it reaches the committee.
Mastery
AI in clinical trials, vaccine trial controversies, the placebo debate and where research ethics goes next: expert-level discussion where nuance decides who walks away convinced.
HSK 5 on paper. Quiet in the meeting.

Dominik Moelsen is an engineer. He learned Mandarin in Beijing and passed HSK 5 at Tsinghua. In the office, a colleague asked him to walk him through a failure analysis. He went quiet, then started in English.
The vocabulary of his work never came, because the job does not have time for you to find the correct term. nicheAce is the programme he did not have: a journey for the language your work runs in.

Questions, answered.
What level do I need to start?
nicheAce: language is built for advanced learners — roughly HSK 5+ for Chinese and B2+ (CEFR) for the others. If you can already hold a basic conversation and you want real depth in a niche, you’re in the right place.
I just need “Business English” — is this that?
Better than that. General Business English teaches the average of every job, which is nobody’s job. nicheAce builds the journey around the work you actually do — the quarterly review in your division, your supplier negotiations, your compliance rules — so the vocabulary and the scenarios are the ones you meet on Monday.
Which languages can I learn?
English first: most people come to nicheAce for the English their work already runs on. Beyond English you can go just as deep in Korean, Japanese, Mandarin, German, French, Spanish and Italian. Speaking is narrower: audio mode has native voices in English, French, German, Spanish and Italian, all generated inside the EU. Chinese, Japanese and Korean journeys work in every other way, but have no native voice yet.
How do credits actually work?
Your plan refills a fixed number of credits every morning, and whatever you do not use that day is discarded rather than carried over — so there is nothing to hoard and nothing to lose by using them. A lesson day costs 1,000, a new journey 2,000, redoing a content lesson 250 and redoing a role play or scenario 350; vocabulary and fill the gap are free, repeats included. Audio mode draws on the same credits, at roughly 101 a minute. Nothing in the app earns credits — the one bonus is a streak, which raises the daily refill by a tenth from nine days in a row (when it starts to rain) and a fifth from thirty (the sun). Credits you buy or are given are separate: they never expire, and they are only spent once the day's refill is gone.
What is the bamboo?
Your plant. It gains one node for every completed week, across all your journeys and languages, and never loses one. The sky behind it is today's state: yellow until you have done something, cloudy while a streak builds, rain from nine days in a row, sun from thirty. It lives on the home screen in a widget, and after week fifteen it is pressed into your herbarium.
How much time does a journey take?
A journey runs one to fifteen weeks, fifteen by default: five days a week, five exercises a day, about fifteen minutes each. Pace it however fits your life — the difficulty recalibrates to how often and how hard you practice.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every new account starts with seven days of Pro, free — one full learning week. Your journey preview needs no payment method at all; the trial itself runs through Google Play, and cancelling before the week ends costs nothing.
Which countries is it available in?
Thirty-nine, on Google Play, across the EU, the EEA, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea and the United States. The App Store (iOS) version follows.
Can I learn offline?
Signal drops won't stop you: exercises keep working, your answers queue offline, and everything syncs when you're back online. Role play, audio mode and the quick check need a connection.
Go deep into the field you already work in.
Describe your niche. Get your path. Fifteen weeks to confident in your world — and a bamboo to show for it.
